Then come to the Budget B & B of Hippago just outside Elim, a place where you can quickly get rid of everything that goes on and on. Elim is located in the Hoogeveen, Coevorden and Slagharen triangle.
Open in the green season
Our Budget B & B is open from approximately April 15 to October 15. We may open a little earlier or close a little later because the night temperature is pleasant enough to sleep without heating. We have nice warm duvets and there is also a bedspread. It is easy to do at temperatures above 5 degrees.The Budget B & B is really what it says: sleeping and having breakfast at a competitive price in a wonderful environment. Check-in/check-out
Check-in is possible between 5:00 and 10:30 pm. From 11:00 pm we are closed for incoming traffic. Check-out is before 10:30 am.
Breakfast in the budget cafe
You can have your breakfast between 8:30 and 9:30 am (exceptions on demand) in the black and white garden shed: the budget cafe. In the evening you can sit here doing board games or playing cards. In the budget cafe you can make a cup of tea or coffee and borrow plates and cutlery. You will find a kettle, instant coffee, tea bags, sugar and coffee milk. There are no facilities to prepare complete meals.

Our Budget B & B has four colourful rooms on wheels: one with 2 beds (Pipopipo), one with three beds (Circuspipo) and two with four beds (Vlinderpipo and Droompipo). You can book our B & B by WhatsApp or e-mail.

The mid season runs from April 1 to June 30 and from September 1 to October 31.
The high season runs from July 1 to August 31.

Our prices include breakfast, VAT, beds made, towels and washcloths, a bedspread and final cleaning, but are excluding tourist tax. The tourist tax is € 1.50 per person per night. Children up to 16 years old do not have to pay tourist tax.

House rules
After 22:00, evening rest is on the premises. Visitors to Hippago not only look forward to an overnight stay, but also to peace and quiet. We try to avoid stimuli as much as possible on our grounds. Our 11 ponies and horses can be frightened by fast-moving machines or people and also by loud noises. It is not allowed to play with balls on our lawns. BBQ, open fire and flying with drones is prohibited. In all covered buildings (of course also in and around the stables) there is no smoking.
How to book
Our B & B can be booked* by Booking.com or – at least one week in advance – by e-mail (hippago@gmail.com) or Whatsapp (06-12780908) stating the desired date, room on wheels, name, address and how many people the booking applies to. The booking is only final when a deposit of 50% has been transferred.

Your host Martin Vlaanderen enjoys conversations about his fruit trees, BBC-podcasts, cloudy skies, philosophy and history, especially from the ancient Greeks. He warmly welcomes you!
Walking and cuddling with ponies
A fun children’s outing: walking and cuddling with ponies. Is your child infected with the pony virus and still very young? For the little ones who are not yet ready to ride on horseback we have our mini horses Rebby and Fee. They can be brushed by the kids and maybe Rebby will show his tricks! Of course we’ll end the outing with a glass of lemonade and a snack. NB
One hour walking/cuddling with our miniature horses – of course under our supervision – costs € 30,00 (for 1 child). € 5.00 per extra child with a maximum of 4 children in total (and the time will then be up to 1.5 hours). Parents / supervisors of course help to monitor the safety of the children.
